Where does ONMI live?
On your server and your domain. You control the database, the files and the backups. ONMI doesn't host your conversations in someone else's cloud.
Can I change the name, logo and colors?
Yes. In Settings you can change the organization name, logo, accent color and icon background. It applies to the app, the PWA, the login, emails, notifications and the manifest.
Can an administrator read conversations?
There is no conversation reader. The audit log only shows actions and metadata; never messages or attachments. Private files can only be opened by people in that conversation. As with any self-hosted app, whoever has root access to the server can reach the database directly: that's protected by hosting and credentials.
Does it include hosting and a domain?
It depends on the package. With ONMI Base you provide hosting and domain; if you don't have them, we help you choose and set them up. With ONMI Studio, Dachi Studio includes managed hosting, SSL, backups and the domain for the first year (contracted in your name); pricing ranges from $1,249 USD for up to 100 people to $1,549 USD for more than 100. Domain and hosting renewal from year 2: $469 USD/year for 1–50 people, $599 for 51–100 and $749 for more than 100. Subject to change.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. ONMI is an installable PWA: it opens like an app, shows in-app notifications and sounds, and has a mobile-friendly experience. You can also use it in the browser without installing anything.
Is it available in Spanish and English?
Yes. Each person chooses Español or English in their profile and the change is instant. The organization sets the default language, emails go out in the recipient's language, and content written by the team is never translated.
Does it include video calls?
Yes. Calendar events can create a unique Jitsi room, with a link and event password. You don't need an external account for each person.
How much does it cost?
There are two starting points: ONMI Base $749 USD (fixed) and ONMI Studio from $1,249 USD, one-time. Studio includes managed hosting, SSL, backups and the domain for the first year, contracted in your name; it goes up to $1,549 USD for more than 100 people. Domain and hosting renewal from year 2: $469 USD/year for 1–50 people, $599 for 51–100 and $749 for more than 100. Subject to change. The final quote depends on scope and the support you need.
Is ONMI an alternative to Slack?
Yes. ONMI brings chat, announcements, calendar, notes, tasks and files into one place, installed on your domain with a one-time price. Slack charges a per-person subscription; ONMI does not. If your team lives inside dozens of integrations, Slack may be a better fit; if you want your own space without per-user fees, ONMI is the alternative.
Does it include tasks?
Yes. Every channel has a Tasks tab. You can create a task manually or turn a message or thread into one, assign owners, set urgency, choose a single date or a date range, attach files, comment and export a monthly CSV report by channel or person.
Does ONMI email me for every message?
No. Messages, mentions and tasks create in-app notifications and sounds. The only automatic activity email is an optional daily summary: one email per person per day with completed tasks, pending tasks and unread messages. Invitations are only sent when someone creates them.
